RULO & LA CONTRABANDA Suburban and middle distances: Theater tour 2024-2025 After their previous proposal -which has been five years since- Rulo and la Contrabanda return to theaters showing their B-side, the most intimate and acoustic. A tour that will take you to the stages of the main theaters and auditoriums in Spain from December (2024) to April (2025).
After their last stage performance, which has been five years since, the rock group Rulo & la Contrabanda are back with a tour of theaters to present their most intimate side. A tour that starts this December and that will visit Ciutadella in its final leg. The Cantabrian artist and his musicians will take to the stage of the Ukalari Calós Theater on April 19 (9 p.m.).
The show, in which the main protagonist is music, is sprinkled with theatrical parts and takes place in a decorated setting that recreates an old railway station. "With the stationmaster, the usual traffic of travelers and suitcases coming and going. The costuming is also worth noting," point out the promoters of the music event. Rulo and Contrabanda have created a new show for the occasion that can only be seen during this period of time. A different formula that the public supported by filling the theaters from the first time that Rulo decided to expand and take another step in his artistic proposal by bringing the songs to a different and original format.
You will see, and of course hear, many different instruments on stage: acoustic, electric, twelve-string guitars, double bass, accordion, drums, percussion, electric bass and mandolin. "Everything to dress the songs in a special dress", add the promoters. "Don't miss this unique journey, don't miss this train", emphasizes Rulo himself.
The preview of the festival show will take place this Saturday at the Wagner Theatre in Aspe (Alicante) and this Sunday will be the official presentation at the Palau de Festivals de Cantabria. It will then visit fourteen more Spanish cities, doing a double in Madrid and Zaragoza. After its performance in Menorca, the tour will end on April 25 in Salamanca.
Rulo i la Contrabanda is Raúl Gutiérrez's current project, an urban rock musical adventure that he began filming with in 2010 after achieving great success with his previous band, La Fuga. With la Contrabanda, he released the live album "Una nit al botànic" a month ago.
It should be noted that the musician has recently been announced by Coque Malla as one of its guest artists for the celebration of its 40 years of career on January 31 at the WiZink Center in Madrid.
